Do you have talents and or abilities that set you above and beyond the human norm? Are you often shunned, overlooked, or just plain bored with life? Well then a job as a Field Operative with the Society to Find Secure and Study the Paranormal may be right for you! Prepare for plenty of excitement and come on in to apply.
Campaign Description
This campaign is designed as kind of a mix of Hellboy (comic book), Sanctuary (tv show), and the SCP foundation (wikidot page. you can find the URL at the bottom).

You're characters will be joining a Society that is not directly in control of any government but instead works off of a contractual basis to find and deal with paranormal activity that can't be dealt with by normal government branches. The Society makes money from this and also from research and development based around studying the paranormal. Your characters job as a field technician essentially makes him the fist of the Society. While most of the work you do will be going out and being the first people on scene of paranormal events or sightings some of it will be containing more dangerous Creatures or Artifacts that may occasionally escape.

This is a low power campaign with 100 base and 150 disads. Your characters can be anything. Aliens, mutants, monsters, ghosts, and anything else you can think of are all acceptable but please make interesting back stories. Also no multiple powered characters, everyone should be sort of a one trick pony with all powers being based off of that one thing. For example don't design someone with flight, laser vision, and frost breath. Instead design someone who can control heat thus being able to "freeze" someone by removing heat or fly by creating hot and cold air currents etc. I shouldn't have to say it, but no uber powerful characters and stay away from characters that don't work in a team environment. It would cause problems if you have enrages that cause you too attack teammates and things like that.

Upon being hired by the Society your characters will be receive basic weapons training (WF:small arms) machine operations training (SysOp, communications systems, radar, and sonar, taken as an everyman 8-) Team Synergy Training (Teamwork, everyman 8-) Medical Training (Paramedics everyman 8-) Basic Fighting (martial arts, basic strike, defensive block, counterstrike, and legsweep) And F.S.S.P basic Training. (Knowledge skill F.S.S.P everyman 8-)

All members of the Society must have an security ID (usually bioimplant, but in some cases this is impossible so an appropriate ID is issued) A regular ID (face, name, and class) a Communication Device (Not nessecary for anyone with radio hearing/transmission) and National Police Powers (certain restrictions may apply)

In addition to required the required equipment your character has the option of accepting any combination of the following gear(OAF); A protective uniform (hardened armor 5/5 with 5 points of power defense) A 45. handgun (physical killing attack,1 1/2d6 ranged double knockback, 2 clips 12 charges) And a Protection Charm (+10 ego only vs. mental/ego attacks 12- activation 1 charge

For those of you who don't want to take the time to put all this on their character, i will be making a package deal for you.

Finally, I expect any applicants to be ready to reply on at least a 3 day basis. If you can't do this i will drop you from the campaign after a week by having the Society fire your character and playing will continue without you.
