A path to redemption for the tainted soul.

This will be a solo game, possibly growing to 2-3 characters as I see how the game plays out.

"How are you feeling?" a voice above you says in accented English as you fight to open your eyes. A young buddhist monk is kneeling above you looking down with concern. He is wearing traditional robes and is holding onto a strange staff with a bunch of rings on it. You notice that he has blood on his hands, it seems rather strange, then you look at your watch. Your watch and by extension your arm is covered with blood, but you see no wounds on yourself or the monk. The watch reads 01:05 am. You have been unconscious for nearly 5 minutes, what happened...

A memory sparks in your mind and you know what happened, well part of it anyway. You were walking back from a new years eve party at a friends house just a mile away when a strange fellow stepped out, you couldn't place your finger on it but there was something strange about him. Then he grew wings, fangs, claws, talons, and horns. Yep, there was something wrong alright your brain had said, but your body simply excavated all fluids from every area possible. You didn't even have time to be humiliated, because the monster was on you, ripping open your stomach and out your intestines and eating them.

You distinctly remember falling to the ground and the beast eating off a leg. You also distinctly remember dying. When the look of shock comes over your face the buddhist looks down at you hard.

"You are dead, yet not dead my young friend. Your soul is now tainted... most sad." The monk smiles gently at you, his look full of concern and warmth. It is obvious that the man cares about your plight, you notice your leg is still attached but you are missing your jeans, sock and sneaker from that leg. You look at the monk confused. He smiles again and says "Who are you?"

You think for a second and say "..." (TO BE CONTINUED)

You will be playing the lead in a solo adventure that may increase in size to maybe 2-3 and possibly 4 characters. The lead character is as of yet unnamed, that is up to you.

Now, this is important... your character is DEAD, yet not dead. He is what some would call the undead. He is back, and he has a mission.

Some background that is necessary. Your character is a 13 year old, they free run, and are in school. You have a parent or parents and have a at least somewhat good relationship with them. Not be anti-social, at least to start off with.

The game is set in a pretty much realistic world, there are no supers!!!

Supernatural beings may exist but no one has proven it yet, at least to common knowledge. However, if they got a hold of you they may be able to prove it, and you would become a human guinea pig for the rest of your "life??" however long that may be.

Your character is partially created. Well to be truthful your character is mostly created. They will start off with a 50 pt. base and 50 points in disadvantages and 8 experience points.

You will be able to customize your character with the points left over and any experience points will be yours to spend, with a few set rules.

This will be run like a mix between dark champions and horror hero. There are definite repercussions to what you do. If you shoot up a mall the police will come get you and you will probably become a government experiment forever. You will not have to buy guns and equipment with points, but remember you are a kid, so getting weapons will be difficult. Also running around in a mask and body armor may sound cool, but it will get you arrested.

To be chosen, you will need to be able to:
1.) POST DAILY!!! or at least every other day. This is a solo game, and therefore there is no one else to move the plot along, so you are solely responsible for making it happen.

2.) WRITE A REALLY GOOD BACKGROUND; Since the character is premade, this will be the only way for me to decide if I like your character idea. I would like motivations, possible plot hooks, possible power ideas, and as much about the character as possible.

3.) SOMEONE WILLING TO NOT BE A RULES LAWYER!!! I know basic rules, but it has been many years since I ran a game, so I may make mistakes. I am perfectly willing to listen if I ask for help with rules, I don't want someone who is constantly trying to use some loophole in the rules to justify something I feel is inappropriate.

4.) WILLING TO HAVE FUN!!! Your character will be the baddest hero in the world... or at least within his world. Since there are no other supernatural heroes running around anywhere that you know of, he is it! There is no one to save you, so this is sink or swim. I will try to inject humor into these situations when I can.

This is a game about mostly real life. There will be ADULT THEMES, WORDS, and SITUATIONS. Do not apply unless you are ready for that.

I have not picked a town where this will take place yet, I have lived all over the world and will be using that experience to attempt to make the background area as real as possible.
