What horrors lie in the twisted jungles of Mesoamerica?

Can adventurers in the 20th century learn from the paths that others have taken before?

The Task:
Players will create TWO characters. ONE character will be created for a standard Pulp HERO game set in the 1910s and 1920s. The SECOND character will be created to play in the lands of Mexico and Central America just after the Conquest of the Aztecs and the fall of Tenochitlan (c 1520)

Game Information:
Heroic template, 50/50 +15 xp, Normal Maxima. Char start at 10.

No superpowers or psionics or native ritual magic, but low-level or modified superskills from Pulp Hero/DkChm allowed with GMs approval. I will also be monitoring CSLs (and would frown upon CSLs > +2), Talents, etc..

Chars: 5-10 (avg being 8)
SPD: 1-3 (2's good, 3's GREAT)
CV: 1-5
DC: 1-6
Skill Points: 5-25
Skill Roll: 8-12-
DEF/rDEF: 6/0* (avg being 2/0)

Will Be Using :
Standard and Optional Combat Maneuvers (From the Green Man Book), Hit Location, Wounding and Bleeding

--Critical Hit Optional Rule (roll half or below what you need to hit, and do MAX damage)..This rule goes both ways for players and adversaries.

--Fumble Optional Rule (roll 18 on attack rolls and bad things happen)...same as above.

--San Figured characteristic (pg 538 5th revised): Ego + (Pre/2) + (Con/2) {No need to put it on a character sheet; Will be added as part of status on Character's Page} San will probably recover like BODY unless there is special help (ie therapy, 'magic', etc)

This game will not be for the faint-hearted.
