Strange activity has started to rise. It starts with a blood bank being robbed and then a morgue is emptied of all bodies. People report of being attacked by a beast that turned into a man. Robberies are being committed by beings that can?t be killed. The unexplainable is happening and it can?t be stopped. Perhaps the SDL can do something. Join Today.

The Sorcerer Defense League has set itself against what is called a mystical threat. This mystical threat is called demons, vampires, and monsters. The reality of it is that these creatures are from other dimensions where they are the main life. Their transportation to this World, some against their own will, has transformed them or they have a different reaction to this new World.

After having an encounter with something you can not explain, you have also ran into some who fight these creatures. Some are rag-tag groups, others are very organized. The SDL is one of the later.

You have joined the SDL for whatever reason. You are assigned a team to hunt and remove threats. Your team is funded, so equipment must be requested. Your base of operations will be one of the branch houses. Travel is a must and independent thought required. Teamwork is what can save your lives and help accomplish the mission.

September 1, 1939	World War II is started in our World.
February 15, 1940	The Great Cataclysm occurs. This affects ten Worlds in other dimensions. However in our World only a select few even have any idea something has happened. The same is true in one other World. Three other Worlds in other dimensions have no clue what so ever. Of the remaining 5, two are warned and ready their defenses. The remaining three Worlds, through various technology catastrophes or magic gone horribly wrong are destroyed. Less than a third of each World?s inhabitants manage to escape to other dimensions. Some arrive in our World.
August 20, 1943	Manfred Holmes forms the Sorcerer Defense League. This organization is a secret and not known to the general populace. Mani searches for those that are willing to defend against the onslaught of invaders from other realms. He is met with jeers and skepticism until he encounters Megan. She is one of those select handfuls of people that are aware of the Great Cataclysm and has seen its effects. She joins Manfred and starts and aggressive recruitment for the SDL.
September 2, 1945	WWII is officially recognized as over. The World rejoices.
May 15, 1946	The invasion from the Great Cataclysm is stymied. The 5 major fissures into our World are closed, but the 100s of minor ones are still open. There is not enough man power to guard them, plus 20 or so of them are mobile. The SDL experiences a growth spurt.
December 25, 1950	Manfred Holmes dies. Cause is unknown but it is highly suspected that he was murdered by someone from another World, possibly the a joint effort on several factions.
June 7, 1955	The person known simply as Megan ceases to exist. She called a select few of her closest friends to her and performed a ceremony that was rather complex. When it is done, all that remains in the center of the circle is a male child. One of the participants, Frederick Jackson had instructions on what to do. He took charge of the SDL and raised the child as his own. The child was name Jonathan Holmes.
June 7, 1980	Jonathan Holmes assumes the mantle of High Patriarch of the SDL. He is 25 years of age and membership is down. Not a lot of mystical activities are around.
August 17, 2005	Vampire activity is up in the Pacific Northwest. Reports of Zombies and other undead are reported in the south, with a large portion in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Demons and other Unworldly creatures are reported around the globe.
November 10, 2005	The Sorcerer Defense League starts recruiting. Their job now is not containment, but removal. They start looking for those that have the ability, both Magical and Mundane, to deal with threats of unimaginable abilities. These threats are often referred to as monsters, Vampires, The Boogie Man, and other creatures of the night.
March, 2007	Today.
End of March 2007	SDL Establishes a house in Hudson City. The 5 members defeat a Voodoo priest that was using a Zombie Army to get sacrifices.
