The King has died, and the city of Korvosa is in chaos! Riots, banditry, monsters, and mayhem are turning the normally safe streets of the city into a war zone. Desperate to regain control of her city, Queen Ileosa seeks heroes to aid her in reclaiming control before the largest city in all Varisia consumes itself from within.(D&D 3.5 Urban-based)
Campaign Description
Dark Days in Korvosa is a D&D 3.5 game set in Paizo Publishing's world of Golorion. We will be starting the Curse of the Crimson Throne Adventure Path which is mostly urban based with a lot of the action taking place in the city of Korvosa.
First Level Characters will be created using the Point Buy system on page 169 of the 3.5 DMG. You will start off with 32 points (High-powered campaign) Point costs are as follows: 9-14 cost 1pt/pt above 8, 15 costs 8 pts, 16 costs 10 pts, 17 costs 13 points, 18 costs 16 points (then add/subtract racial ability score modifiers, if any) Classes can be standard, or classes from WoTC supplements. You can also user racial variants of standard classes, like the dwarf fighter variants. PrC's when we get there,I will decide on a case-by-case basis. No FR or Eberron world specific stuff, please. You should download the free pdf of the Player's Guide to Rise of the Runelords and Player's Guide to Curse of the Crimson Throne from the Paizo site. I get to be picky this go round and will most likely not accept a player w/out a good history. In the CotCT, a link ties all the PCs together giving them a common enemy (and a trait to start with as indicated in the CotCTPG) Also, I am allowing one free Regional Feat (from those listed in the RotRL Player's Guide, Harrowed, Shingle Runner, and Acadamae Graduate from the Curse' PG.)

Slowly, ever so slowly, The Spider approaches the mantle containing the vials of shiver. His features are different than any of his underlings or would-be minions might have ever seen. For, this Spider has morals borne of desperation. The morals of a man that had done things he'd rather forget. Things, which were catalized by something much like this shiver.
Suddenly, his hand flashed out, the butt of the whip at his waist smashing shiver and glass alike. He moved quickly then, smashing lengths of firewood into the cauldrons in an attempt to upend them. It was over as quickly as it had started and the lab was a wreck, small fires were catching in the corners of the room and Dellus was himself once more, the guise of Old Hob a bit worse for wear and splattered with liquid and glass shards. But, he was that much closer to vengeance within himself. Old Hob/Dellus, Eel's End (Lvl2)
