Essentially? Heroes Amok (And V.A. is probably where I'll rip off a lot of scenerios). This game is by Invite only

Of Masks and Meta-Humans is a Superhero campaign set in the 5th edition Champions Universe. Characters will be built on 200 base + 150 Disads. While no team base will be provided; if somene wants a private sanctum or 'herolair', let me know.If it is in concept, I might arrange a discount. Players should be able to post at least three times a week, though at least once a day would be appreciated. Character creation guidelines have been reduced to 'standard' super heroic levels as presented in the rules books as guidelines.

No VPPs

More Guidelines: Each character should have either Protective of Innocents, a Code VS Killing, or some other 'heroic' code. Silver or Bronze age sensibilities please.

We're using 5th ED Champions Universe setting, so please, any hunted should come from that setting. Heck, I encourage using the setting and options in your back story or concept. If you want to play an Empyrean, an Atlantean, or a Malvan, go for it. Kelvarite is your friend when it comes to radiation accidents, and so forth.

I hope to make this a collabaritive effort, so backgrounds that give me something to use or put in the city will be appreciated.

House Rules
If these look familar, that's because I ripped them off from folks here at HERO Central and on the champions forums:
To reflect the fact the 'writers are on the heroes' side' max damage or a 'crit' occurs whenever a PC rolls a 3 OR 4.
Any weapons with the 'real weapon' limitation use 'standard' stun multipliers. This is to keep some punk from knocking out your supposed 'nigh invulnerable' hero with a mere saturday night special. Super mercs and the like, of course, don't usually have that limitation on THEIR Gear, so don't get cocky!
(Unless, of course, overconfidence is one of your psych lims)
"Pulling a punch" is only a -1 on your attacks OCV, no matter how much power is behind it. I don't plan to punish anyone for trying to keep the kid gloves on.

Rapid Fire is allowed, but only for up to three targets total.

My apologies to the others who I would have wanted to invite, but I can only juggle so many and was pleasantly surprised, and honored, when I recieved a yes response from each one I asked in turn. It filled out quickly.

March o5, 2006	GM does a reboot. New setting, new characters. yadda yadda
A few months ago	Juggernaut appears on the scene of New Constantinople, but eventually is unmasked. Her identity public, the city makes arrangements to hire her as a resident superhero.
1987	Colossus saves the city, and is presumed dead. New Constantinople loses its greatest hero.
Little bit after that.	Coming out of Prison for a crime he himself didn't commit, a man dons a very special suit that fits so well, no one even knows its the source of his power. Hornet takes flight.
About the same time	After an accident in the lab, a young assistant is bulled by his coworker to use his super speed for good, and Speedzone is born.
Just a few weeks later	Looking for a new life in a new city away from his parents, Slyfox makes New Con his home.
Aprilish	In a classic showdown that will never be forgotten (until something better comes along) the local heroes gather together to stop Foxbat and his weapon of "mass" destruction. A device that would litterally have had the city floating, and they manage to keep VIPER from stealing the device at the same time.
Run May-ish	Various women of the city end up being given a chance for 'superpowers' by a mysterious figure... Okay, it's Teleios. A hand ful are saved by virtue of knowing superheroes.
Halloween 2006	Silver Screen monsters come to life at the behest of the Devil's advocates. In a cross over event of superproportions, the various superheroes of New Constantinople put an end to this plan and bring most of the supernatural terrorists to justice!
